SHIPPING POLICY

PROCESSING TIME

Order Processing: All orders are processed within 1-3 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.

Business Days: We do not process or ship orders on weekends or federal holidays.

High Volume Periods: During peak seasons (holidays, sales events), processing times may extend to 3-5 business days. We will notify customers of any expected delays via email or on our website.

Custom Orders: Custom or personalized products may require additional processing time. Estimated processing times for custom orders will be communicated at the time of purchase.

SHIPPING METHODS & DELIVERY TIMES

We currently ship within the United States and Canada. We use USPS (United States Postal Service) for U.S. shipments and USPS or other carriers for Canadian shipments, and reserve the right to use other carriers when appropriate.

United States - Economy Shipping: 5-8 business days. FREE on orders $50+; $7.99 flat rate for orders under $50.

United States - Expedited/Priority Shipping: 1-3 business days. Calculated at checkout based on current carrier rates.

Canada - Economy Shipping: 7-14 business days. $14.99 flat rate for all orders.

Canada - Expedited/Priority Shipping: 3-7 business days. Calculated at checkout based on current carrier rates.

*Delivery times begin after your order has been processed and shipped. Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Canadian delivery times may vary based on customs processing.

Free Economy Shipping: We offer free economy shipping on orders of $50 or more to addresses within the United States.

Expedited Shipping Rates: Expedited and priority shipping costs are calculated in real-time at checkout based on current carrier rates, package weight and dimensions, destination address, and selected shipping speed. The exact cost will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

International Shipping (Outside U.S. and Canada): We currently do not ship to countries outside the United States and Canada. We are working to expand our shipping capabilities and will update this policy when additional international shipping becomes available. If you are located outside the United States or Canada and would like to inquire about international shipping options, please contact us at info@mgbotanicals.com.

SHIPPING COSTS

United States:

  • Economy Shipping: FREE for orders of $50 or more. $7.99 flat rate for orders under $50.
  • Expedited Shipping: Calculated at checkout based on real-time carrier rates.

Canada:

  • Economy Shipping: $14.99 flat rate for all orders.
  • Expedited Shipping: Calculated at checkout based on real-time carrier rates.

Order Modifications: Once an order is placed and confirmed, we cannot change the shipping address or method. Please review your shipping information carefully before completing checkout.

SHIPPING ADDRESSES

Accuracy Requirements: You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Mountain Gem Botanicals is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect, incomplete, or outdated addresses provided by the customer.

Address Changes: We cannot change your shipping address once your order has been processed. If you need to update your address, please contact us immediately at info@mgbotanicals.com. If your order has not yet shipped, we will do our best to accommodate the change.

PO Boxes (U.S. Only): We ship to PO Boxes via USPS economy shipping. Expedited and Priority shipping options may have limited availability for PO Box addresses depending on carrier restrictions. PO Box delivery is not available for Canadian addresses.

Military Addresses (APO/FPO/DPO): We ship to U.S. military APO/FPO/DPO addresses using USPS. Economy shipping is free for orders of $50 or more; orders under $50 will be charged the $7.99 U.S. flat rate. Please allow additional time for delivery to military addresses. Delivery times may vary significantly based on location. Expedited shipping options may not be available for military addresses.

Undeliverable Addresses: If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, unclaimed delivery, or refused delivery (not due to product defect), you will be responsible for the cost of reshipping. We will contact you to arrange reshipment and collect shipping fees before resending your order.

CUSTOMS & DUTIES (CANADA)

For shipments to Canada, the recipient is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or brokerage fees that may be assessed by Canadian customs authorities. These charges are not included in the shipping cost and are collected by the carrier or customs agency upon delivery. Mountain Gem Botanicals has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for more information about potential import fees.

ORDER TRACKING

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number, carrier information (USPS or other), and a link to track your package. You can track your package by clicking the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email or visiting the carrier's website and entering your tracking number.

Tracking Updates: Please allow 24-48 hours after receiving your shipping confirmation for tracking information to become active in the carrier's system. For Canadian shipments, tracking may be limited once the package enters Canada, depending on the carrier.

DELIVERY

Delivery Location: Packages are typically delivered to the address you provided. Carriers may leave packages at your door, in a secure location, or require a signature depending on their policies and the value of the shipment.

Signature Requirements: We do not currently require signature confirmation for standard orders. For high-value orders (typically over $200), we may require signature confirmation at our discretion. If you would like to add signature confirmation to your order, please contact us at info@mgbotanicals.com before your order ships.

Mailbox Safety: We recommend monitoring your mailbox or delivery location after receiving your tracking notification, especially during extreme weather conditions, as our natural products perform best when stored at cool temperatures.

Failed Delivery Attempts: If the carrier cannot deliver your package and it is returned to us, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. Additional shipping charges may apply for reshipment.

DELIVERY ISSUES

Lost Packages: If your tracking information shows your package was delivered but you did not receive it, first verify the package wasn't left in a secure location (porch, garage, neighbor, mailroom, building office), confirm the shipping address was correct, and wait 24 hours as tracking information sometimes updates before actual delivery. If you still cannot locate your package, file a claim with the carrier using your tracking number. If the issue remains unresolved after 48 hours, contact us at info@mgbotanicals.com. We are not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier. Filing a claim with the carrier is the customer's responsibility.

Damaged Packages: Please inspect your package immediately upon delivery. If the shipping box is visibly damaged or crushed, take photos of the box before opening. If your product arrives damaged or defective, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@mgbotanicals.com with your order number, photos of the damaged product, and photos of the shipping box/packaging (especially if the box was damaged). We will provide a prepaid return label and send a replacement or issue a full refund according to our Return and Refund Policy. We cannot accept damage claims after 48 hours from delivery, as this prevents us from filing carrier claims and determining whether damage occurred during shipping.

Wrong Item Shipped: If we shipped the wrong item to you, contact us immediately at info@mgbotanicals.com (within 48 hours of delivery preferred) and provide your order number and photos of the item received. We will send the correct item immediately with a prepaid return label for the wrong item. You will not incur any costs for our shipping error.

SHIPPING DELAYS

While we make every effort to ensure timely delivery, we cannot guarantee delivery dates and are not responsible for delays caused by weather conditions or natural disasters, carrier delays or service disruptions, customs processing (for Canadian shipments), incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by customer, failed delivery attempts when customer is unavailable, federal holidays or carrier service suspensions, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Notification: If we become aware of significant shipping delays affecting your order, we will attempt to notify you via email.

Peak Season Delays: During holidays (November-December) and promotional periods, carrier networks experience high volume. Please order early and allow extra time for delivery. Consider selecting expedited shipping if you need items by a specific date. Canadian shipments may experience additional delays during peak seasons due to customs processing.

REFUSED OR UNCLAIMED PACKAGES

If you refuse delivery or do not claim your package, resulting in it being returned to us, you will be responsible for return shipping costs incurred. Reshipment will require payment of applicable shipping fees (free economy shipping threshold of $50 still applies). These costs may be deducted from your refund if applicable. This policy does not apply to damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped items.

ORDER SPLITTING

If your order contains multiple items, we may split your order into multiple shipments to expedite delivery. You will receive separate tracking numbers for each shipment. You will not be charged additional shipping fees for split shipments that we initiate—if your original order qualified for free economy shipping, all shipments remain free.

EXPEDITED SHIPPING CUTOFF TIMES

To qualify for expedited shipping arrival estimates, orders must be placed before 12:00 PM ET Monday-Friday. Orders placed after 12:00 PM ET will be processed the next business day. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day. Expedited shipping guarantees apply only to transit time after the order ships, not processing time.

RETURNS & SHIPPING COSTS

All Sales Are Final: Due to the personal care nature of our products, all sales are final. We cannot accept returns or exchanges for any reason other than receiving a damaged, defective, or incorrect item.

Return Shipping for Our Errors: If we shipped a damaged, defective, or wrong item, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you.

SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

Temperature-Sensitive Products: Our natural skin care products are sensitive to extreme temperatures. While we package products carefully, we cannot control carrier handling or storage conditions. We are not liable for products damaged due to extreme heat or cold during transit. We recommend having packages held at carrier facilities during extreme weather (available through carrier websites), requesting signature confirmation for summer deliveries (contact us at info@mgbotanicals.com), and bringing packages inside immediately upon delivery.

Restricted Locations: We cannot ship to international addresses outside the U.S. and Canada, freight forwarding services, or locations where delivery of cosmetic products is restricted by law.

CARRIER RATE CHANGES

Expedited and priority shipping costs are calculated based on current carrier rates, which are subject to change by the carriers without notice. The shipping cost displayed at checkout is the final cost you will be charged. We do not retroactively charge additional fees if carrier rates increase after you place your order. Flat-rate economy shipping prices ($7.99 U.S. / $14.99 Canada) are set by Mountain Gem Botanicals and may be updated at our discretion; any changes will be reflected on our website.
